Chris Tribe Furniture recently launched a new website bringing together the two arms of the business; designing and making fine contemporary furniture and running short courses in furniture making. The two sectors were previously served by separate sites with different branding. The new site allows visitors to see the full range of activity in just a few clicks. www.christribe.co.uk
Since moving to Ilkley last year both sides of the business have flourished. The excellent transport, accommodation and hospitality facilities in the town enhance the course experience for students, and the workshop’s central location means that more and more people are finding out about the unique furniture being made there. It is hoped the new website will spread the word further.
Visitors to the website can also see a new video featuring the Cube desk and chair, made for the recent Northern Contemporary Furniture Makers exhibition at the Cube gallery in Manchester.
