Description:
Distinctive, original and elegant, Sam Anderson Fine Furniture is furniture as art - to be admired today and forever.
I have always had an intense love affair with nature and all things natural - and none more so than with wood. Since I was a boy I have developed a great working knowledge of tree species and timber, enabling me to single out the best and most interesting materials for my furniture.
Furniture performs a function, but like art it ignites our aesthetic desires and reveals our personality and style. It is also part of our upbringing; a cherished heirloom, passed down from generation to generation; a legacy for the future.
I work mainly with only the finest English hardwoods and veneers together with sustainably sourced imported timber. Some clients chose to use their own tress in their commissions, milled and air dried by me; other materials, such as marble, granite, leather, laminate and precious metals are also often incorporated into my work.
